About

I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in May of 2014.  I am very interested in natural history and specimen illustration, but I work with a variety of subjects and mediums.  At SAIC, I took many different courses, including scientific, fashion, and poster illustration, ceramics, drawing and painting, artist books, and shoemaking.  Over the past few years, I have held several internships, including illustrating fish and coral specimens for the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, working on creative displays at Anthropologie in Chicago, and working at The Monroe Street Fine Arts Center in Madison, WI.  Currently, I am working on independent freelance work.  When I'm not working on my art, I love to watch horror movies, visit the zoo, and attend concerts!
